Only solid stone staircases are both the primary structure as well as the architectural finish (with no other cladding or decorative elements). They are also more slender than any other material option.

The stone selection and finish has more to it than a basic choice: we provide expertise on testing requirements, variability & shell content, slip resistance, and how the stone responds to arris and balustrade insert details. Many options are possible, each with their own merits.

We have strong and direct relationships with many quarries, and we also work closely with selected stone buyers, to obtain the best quality raw stone blocks at the best possible prices. The best 'ingredients' make for the best project results.

Technical Delivery

From Design to Installation

Each staircase project is developed and fully modelled in 3D. As part of our service we take on the full structural design responsibility. Furthermore we coordinate and integrate each touch point where the stair is supported onto the buildings core structure.

We advise on vital arrangements and details such as building control compliance, tread sectional shape options, tread nosings, handrail interfaces, soffit details, landing edgings, landing connections, finishes and so much more.
