Bringing Stone to Life since 1858
Beckett Hall, Defence Academy UK
Conservation & Repair Works, Defence Academy UK, Shrivenham
We are delighted to announce that we have commenced work at Beckett Hall (also known as Beckett House) on the first phase of external stonework conservation.
This is a Grade II listed building of Elizabethan Style dating from 1830 (with reports of earlier 1740 built elements). Designed by the Honarary Thomas Liddell after designs by William Atkinson for the 7th Viscount Barrington.
We are progressing through stone & pointing sample approvals, and scope confirmation which will include various pinnacles, including Fleur-de-lis carvings and window elemental replacements & piecings.
