This beautiful oval cantilevered stone staircase demands attention from visitors at an exclusive hotel in Berkshire, as they lead down to an underground cinema. Designed, crafted and installed by A F Jones Stonemasons. The staircase features Crossland Hill, York stone which is highly specific, rebated interconnecting treads, accompanied by bronze treads on each step nose. The stairwell is complimented by a variety of different quarry stone on the wall to create a varied mix of colour size and appearance. The rigid wall contrasts the smooth finish of the steps to create a fine result.
